Retinal Consultants Medical Group is the premier practice providing care to patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous in the Sacramento and Central Valleys. With ten clinics from Chico to Modesto, and Vacaville to Grass Valley, our physicians and staff strive to provide advanced care that is unmatched in quality.
We treat, and particiapte in clinical drug trials related to, Aged Related Macular Degneration (AMD), the leading cause of blindness in people over 65. We also treat diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular holes, among others.

Company History
Retinal Consultants Medical Group was founded in 1977 as the first retina practice in the region. Since then we have grown from one physician with one clinic, to nine physicians with ten clinics in the Sacramento and San Joanquin Valleys.
Our physicians have been at the leading edge of retina care since the practice's inception, as evidenced by two of our physicians receiving an international award for pioneering a breakthrough technique for macular hole surgery. Currently, we participate in numerous clinical drug trials that seek to advance treatment of retinal diseases.
